It's fantastic to see some of our young people start their journey in Whakatane and grow to take their talents to work in the industry. Kelly started his theatre life in Whakatane and now he's making a career of it in Wellington. Here's his story.
Eve Lyford and Cole Bockman, both known locally for outstanding performances at Theatre Whakatane, have spent time performing on cruise ships just before Covid-19 struck. Here are their stories. We are still looking for backstage help for the proposed March/April 2021 production of “Phantom Of The Opera”.
In December we will audition the positions left vacant by cast who cannot make the rescheduled performance time. It will be an opportunity for more men to join the company on stage in the chorus.
